Whitney Houston is dead. Those are some shocking words. First Etta James and now this...This, which was so sudden and unexpected and it just doesn't even feel like real life. When I got the news I felt stunned and sickened. It's funny my sis and I joked about Whitney's Being Bobby Brown shenanigans and hilarious Maya Rudolph impressions but never do you expect to see such a huge star like Whitney to be gone forever. Well that's not true, she lives on through her music which is a gift to us.
I can't keep up with The-Dream anymore after some time I'm actually tired of his songs. That's how much I've played his music. I'm sick of Love Vs. Money and Love/Hate now. 1977 still rotates though :)
The Dream has a number of endeavors on hand, a mixtape album called 1984: Persona Of Love (somethin' like that) and Love IV is tentatively scheduled for March 20th.
I don't like the song Roc but I hope it does well. I heard it on the radio here a couple times so good for him. Hopefully it catches on.
I have no idea what Love: The Gift, The Curse is. Lol I tell you I can't keep up. But apparently he has a cover for it. I wish he'd just release all of his fantastic music and stop coming up with frenzied ideas.
I hear this is his new serving. Not sure where it's from....Hmm
